("Olito," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Olito AI productivity coach available at olito.ai and related services, including our web application, APIs, and interactive features (collectively, the "Service").   • Account information: Email address, hashed password (if you register with email/password), and authentication tokens (for Google Sign-In).
  • Profile and workspace details: Name, organization, role, team preferences, and AI tool preferences you share to personalize coaching.
  • Service content: Chat messages, prompts, uploaded files, generated artifacts (e.g., skills or documents), and feedback you provide in the product.
  • Communications: Support requests or other messages you send to us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referral URLs, device identifiers, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Usage and diagnostics: Feature interactions, error reports, performance data, and approximate location (country/region) to help secure and improve the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if disabled.

Information from third parties

  • Authentication providers: Identity and basic profile data from Google when you sign in with Google OAuth.
  • Integrated services: Data needed to deliver AI model outputs, analytics, storage, and search as described below.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Deliver AI-generated responses, artifacts, and personalized coaching based on your prompts and uploaded content.
  • Improve and develop the Service, including analytics, debugging, testing, and research.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers: We use trusted vendors to operate the Service, including:
    • Google OAuth – user authentication
    • Vercel AI Gateway – AI model routing to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI
    • Neon PostgreSQL – database hosting
    • Vercel Blob – file storage
    • Upstash Redis – caching and rate limiting
    • Vercel Analytics – usage analytics
    • Exa AI Search – web search capabilities
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • Legal compliance and safety: To comply with applicable law, lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Olito, our users, or the public.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data: We may share insights that do not identify you.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data; some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., security logs).

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and routine reviews. No system is fully secure; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

  • Request deletion of your account and associated content.
  • Export or receive a copy of your data where technically feasible.
  • Opt out of marketing communications (operational emails will still be sent as needed to deliver the Service).

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and artifacts based on your inputs. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Do not rely on AI output as professional advice, and avoid sharing sensitive personal information in prompts or uploads.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are located outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a new effective date and, where required, provide additional notice.
